Welcome back, T-Birds!

If you're enrolled in a technical education program at MTC or BTC, please carefully review the following information about the first days of school.

📅 BOCES Start Date

• All MTC and BTC programs begin Thursday, September 4, 2025.

📌 Plan for Tuesday, September 2 & Wednesday, September 3

For AM BOCES Students (MTC/BTC)

• Late Arrival to CHS
  ➤ Report to Connetquot High School by Period 6 (11:10 AM)
  ➤ Two transportation options:
  • Self-transportation: Only seniors with valid CHS parking tags may park on school grounds.
  • Bus Transportation: Pick-up is at 10:30 AM from designated stops.
    🔗 TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULE LINK WILL BE PROVIDED SOON!
  • If you arrive early, report to the cafeteria until Period 6 begins.
• Wednesday, September 3 Only:
  ➤ All AM BOCES students will be called out of Period 7 for a BOCES Orientation in the auditorium.

📌 Plan for Tuesday, September 2 & Wednesday, September 3

For PM BOCES Students (MTC/BTC)

• Tuesday, September 2
  • Attend CHS as usual.
  • Dismissal is after Period 5.
  • Bus transportation will be provided from the bus parking lot.
    • Students will be transported home utilizing the 3:55 PM late bus schedule.
  • Student drivers may leave after Period 5 (seniors with parking tags only).
• Wednesday, September 3
  • Remain at CHS through Period 8.
    • Period 6: Lunch
    • Period 7: Report to the auditorium for orientation
    • Period 8: Remain in the auditorium
  • Dismissal at 1:21 PM from the bus parking lot

✅ Beginning Thursday, September 4

All students resume their regular BOCES schedules at MTC and BTC.
