Welcome back to Connetquot High School – and welcome to your senior year!
This is a momentous time filled with excitement, new opportunities, and lasting memories. As the Class of 2026, you're entering the final stretch of your high school journey, and we’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished to get here.

Parking at Connetquot High School:
Parking on the Connetquot High School campus is a SENIOR PRIVILEGE and you must have a CHS Parking Tag. This tag is available through the CHS Security Office after completing a parking application.
Only SENIORS with a New York State Class D driver’s license can apply for a parking tag. Please note, a Class D License is issued only to people 18 years of age or older or to a person who is 17 years of age and has successfully completed an approved Driver Education course and received your certificate of completion. By law, you cannot drive to school with a Junior License (Class DJ).
- THERE IS NO COST OR FEE TO submit a Senior Parking Application, but you must have a NYS Class D Driver's License to qualify for a parking permit.
- ALL seniors who submit a parking application and receive a parking tag will be assigned a specific parking space number.
- You are not allowed to paint a parking space unless you have paid to do so and your design was approved.
PARKING TAGS MUST BE DISPLAYED FROM YOUR REARVIEW MIRROR WHEN YOU PARK ON SCHOOL GROUNDS. Violators will receive a warning. Ongoing issues may result in loss of parking privileges.
If you are identified parking on school grounds without a valid parking tag you can be prohibited from parking on school grounds in the future.
- JUNIORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PARK ON SCHOOL GROUNDS

Class of 2026 - How to received your Senior Parking Tag?
- Even if you paid to paint a Senior Parking Space you must apply for a Senior Parking Tag.
- During the last two weeks of August the high school will begin accepting Class of 2026 Senior Parking Permit Applications.

Applications for Senior Parking Tags will be accepted prior to the first day of school on the following dates:
- Wednesday, August 13th from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Security Desk located at the back door to the student parking lot.
- Thursday, August 14th from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Security Desk located at the back door to the student parking lot.
- Tuesday, August 26th from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Security Desk located at the main entrance.
- Wednesday, August 27th from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Security Desk located at the main entrance.
- Thursday, August 28th from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Security Desk located at the main entrance.
Thereafter, submission of Senior Parking Applications will take place during the school year during periods 1 through 5 at the Security Desk located by the back door to the student parking lot.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR A STUDENT WITH A NYS JUNIOR DRIVERS LICENSE (CLASS DJ):
- Per the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles - Any person with a NYS Class DJ drivers license cannot drive to or from the high school without a parent or guardian in the vehicle.
SENIOR PORTRAITS:
ISLAND PHOTOGRAPHY SENIOR PORTRAIT INFORMATION FOR STUDENT IN THE CLASS OF 2026:
- In the early summer students in the Class of 2026 will be contacted via Island Photography to schedule Senior Portrait pictures that will take place in July and August.
- Below is a schedule from Island Photography when they will be here at the high school. Once again, Senior households will be contacted by Island Photography to set a date and time for the Senior Portrait.

- SENIOR PORTRAIT DATES FOR RETAKES: Wednesday, August 13, 2025 and Thursday, August 14, 2025 (Seniors/Parents make appointment with Island Photography)
